WW1567 - 1988 40th Anniversary of Farnborough International JSF25 cover personally autographed by Wing Commander George Unwin DSO DFM. Unwin gained his wings in 1936 and was posted to 19 squadron at Duxford flying Gloster Gauntlets. In 1938 the squadron was re-equipped with Spitfires and Unwin was the first Sergeant - Pilot to fly this machine. During the Battle of Britain George Unwin was credited with 14 victories and was awarded the DFM and bar. After a stint with Central Flying School he returned to operational flying with 613 squadron in 1944, flying the intruder Mosquito. A fantastic and rare cover.
